39 Hunter Street,
39 Hunter Street is a Heritage listed office building with a net lettable area of approximately 6,000m² over 8 levels and a basement, located in the Sydney CBD. The building was constructed in 1916 for the Perpetual Trustee Company who owned and occupied the property until their sale to Kador in 2006. A major refurbishment was undertaken once Perpetual vacated the property, including the creation of an atrium through to the ground floor level.
39 Hunter Street is Australia’s first heritage listed, commercial office building to achieve 6 Star Green Star* rating under the Green Building Council of Australia’s environmental rating system. The significance of the project was recognised though a number of property awards.
Since project completion the property has been occupied by the one whole-building tenant.
